Mawhinney's Pennies from Heaven Penny Drive

The goal is to collect 14.5 miles of pennies. JMRacing has chosen to reach out to The Wall Youth Foundation for the 2009 Racing Season. Together with our sponsors and other Community Businesses we ask that you save all your unwanted pennies and help us meet our goal. You can find out more about the teen center at www.thewallcarmichael.com.

We want to collect enough pennies that if you stacked them one on top of the other we would reach 14.5 miles, this is the equivalent of one of Jonathan Mawhinney's races 44 laps.

This may sound like a lot of pennies and yes it is. To meet our goal we need to collect 1,098,246 pennies per mile the total $10,982.46 per mile.

As of right now the total amount of pennies collected is 89,426.

Jonathan Takes Stuffed Animals To Shriners Hospital
Christmas 2008

Jonathan Mawhinney is not only determined to succeed in his racing career, he is also driven to give back to his surrounding community. He visited the Shriners Hospital for Children just before Christmas 2008 to give 4 large bags of stuffed animals and monkeys for some of the kids. It was the Birthday of one of the young boys, 5 years old, and Jonathan was kind enough to autograph his racing gloves and give them to him as a Birthday gift. He touched the hearts and put smiles on many childrens' faces through this very selfless visit. Jonathan looks forward to many more of these kinds of community outreaches.
